Treat dad to a WILD experience this Father’s Day: Come out to the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, where all fathers receive free admission to the NEW Zoo on their special day!
“HeartBound Greyhound Adoption” will be on-site to meet with visitors at the front of the Visitor Center, near the entrance to the Zoo, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This dog adoption organization serves East-Central Wisconsin and will have live retired racing greyhounds for you to meet. The group strives to place greyhounds in loving homes and to educate the public about the attributes and needs of the unique Greyhound breed.
While you’re at the zoo, don’t forget to feed the giraffes! Hodari and Zuri will be available at the Giraffe Feeding Experience from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The newborn cotton-top tamarins are also on display!
The NEW Zoo’s daily hours during the summer are 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. daily.
Regular admission fees are: Children 2 & under-free; Children 3-15 & Seniors 62 and over-$5, Adults-$7. “Wild Wednesday” offers half-priced admission to the NEW Zoo from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays in June, July and August.
