“Brew at the Zoo” Tickets On-Sale

The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, along with the N.E.W Zoological Society, is hosting a fundraising event for conservation at the NEW Zoo on Thursday evening, June 16th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Designated Driver tickets are $25 and Beer Tasting Drink tickets sell for only $35. Tickets can be purchased as of June 1 at Festival Foods: Suamico, East, West and DePere, as well as in the NEW Zoo Gift Shop.

There will be 17 local and regional breweries on hand featuring numerous craft beer, cider and non-alcoholic drinks.

Guests can sample: Stillmank, Badger State, Titletown, Hinterland, New Glarus, Lakefront, Bell’s, Upper Hand, Dogfish Head, Blue Moon, Sam Adams (Lump Angry, Traveler, and Coney), Sierra Nevada, Ballast Point, Blackrocks, Short’s, Sprecher Sodas and Point Sodas

Every attendee will get a pretzel necklace, a 6 oz. logo’d limited edition Brew at the Zoo tasting glass, and the opportunity to taste the many selections. We’ll also have a DJ and picnic style food for sale.   Uber will provide free rides home (up to $20 value) for any first time Uber users.

This is a limited-ticket event with only 1200 tickets available for sale – so buy your tickets early! No one under 21 will be allowed inside the Zoo during the event – including underage children of adults who are present. Leave the kids at home and consider this your date night!

The Neville Public Museum will also be on-site with fun, historical facts on beer-brewing in Wisconsin, along with actual beer- and soda-brewing systems fired up and working. You’ll have a chance to taste and see how much fun brewing your own beer and soda can be! They’ll also be brewing some Door County cherry soda – a local tasty treat to say the least.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to SAFE – Saving Animals from Extinction. Learn more about SAFE by visiting https://www.aza.org/safe/. AZA-accredited institutions, like the NEW Zoo, are already investing over $160 million annually towards conservation to help save animals in the wild. We at the New Zoo and Adventure Park are pleased to support this very important animal-saving endeavor.

The Adventure Park will be open from 11:00am – 7:00pm that day for “Zip Before You Sip” – in case you’d like a little added fun!
