Father’s Day at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park

Treat dad to a WILD experience this Father’s Day: Come out to the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, where all fathers receive free admission to the NEW Zoo on their special day!

“HeartBound Greyhound Adoption” will be on-site to meet with visitors at the front of the Visitor Center, near the entrance to the Zoo, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This dog adoption organization serves East-Central Wisconsin and will have live retired racing greyhounds for you to meet. Girl Scout Day

The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is pleased to announce the hosting of our fourth annual “Girl Scout Day” event. The event will take place on Saturday, June 7th, from 10am to 2pm.

The Girl Scout Day event will offer a variety of activities for scouts of all ages to participate in and enjoy. This year’s activities will be especially focused on oceans and water conservation topics, in honor of World Ocean’s Day on June 8th. All girls are welcome to participate in any of the stations. Girls who are not currently enrolled in the scout program can also learn more about the opportunities available, and register to become a Girl Scout when they arrive. Additional stations, aside from those focusing on water topics, will also be offered by the local Girl Scout council. There will be fun opportunities for all!

A NEW Zoo “panda patch” will also be available for scouts to purchase in the Paws & Claws Gift Shop.

Any zoo guests can participate in these activity stations – not just girl scouts! So don’t miss this celebration in honor of our World Oceans. The Girl Scout Day event is free with zoo admission.
