 Monday, August 4th, 6p.m. – 8p.m.

On Monday, August 4th, 2014, the Society along with the Wisconsin Restaurant Association will  partner to host the 15th annual Pioneer Credit Union “Feast with the Beasts” event at the NEW Zoo.  This event is the Society’s largest educational fund-raiser of the year.

This year the “Feast” will feature approximately 40 food, beverage, and music vendors located throughout the zoo. Enjoy the many tasty delights while visiting with your favorite animals and relaxing with live remotes from 2 fantastic music stations and live music from singer-songwriter, Anthony Nguyen.  There are raffles, gifts to purchase, specials on bricks & benches, and much more!  We are thankful for the generous sponsors, and the many food, beverage, and music vendors that make this event a reality each year.

The focus of the Feast is Education.  All proceeds from the event benefit educational programs sponsored by the Society and the WRA Educational Foundation.  To date, the Society’s portion of the proceeds have exceeded $160,000.00 from the event.  This money has helped to sponsor the education position at the zoo, provide funds for educational training for zoo staff, and contribute to the construction and furnishing of the Education & Conservation center.
