The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is proud to partner with the Greater Green Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau and several other local attractions to create a scavenger hunt that is sure to get families out in the community to safely see the sites. The Green Bay Mystery Field Trip has participants visiting 10 locations in the community with their clue sheet in hand to explore and discover.
These days, everyone is spending more time in front of a screen, so the CVB wanted to offer a fun and educational adventure for kids and adults. “There’s really no age limit for the contest. We have easy clues and ones that are a little more challenging. The clues themselves have elements of history, math, art, science and technology,” explained Brenda Krainik, CVB Marketing Director.
Attractions included are Neville Public Museum, Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, Lambeau Field, Green Bay Botanical Garden, NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, Seroogy’s Chocolates, National Railroad Museum, Scray Cheese, The Automobile Gallery and a mural on Broadway Street in downtown Green Bay.
“There are safety guidelines in place, so visitors feel comfortable during their visit. Most notably would be the online ticketing and timed admissions. Our museums are watching capacity, so you can easily stay six feet apart,” says Krainik. “Masks are required inside buildings, and you’ll see plenty of hand sanitizing stations at our attractions,” she added.
Scavenger Hunt participants have until December 31 to visit the attractions listed on the clue sheet and submit their answers. Prizes are provided by the Green Bay Packers and Kwik Trip.
