Adventure Park Group Programs

All Group Programs must be reserved and paid for in advance.  All Adventure Park admissions/program fees are separate from Zoo admission and program fees. 

The Adventure Park at the NEW Zoo is a great recreational or educational group experience. If you are looking for a traditional corporate teambuilding experience or if you want to have a fun and memorable birthday party we can accommodate groups of all ages and sizes.  The following are brief descriptions of our group programs that are available at the Adventure Park.

  • Youth Groups:
    • Description: This recreational program package is designed for school, camp, church, scout, sports teams and birthday party groups. Each member of the group will be issued a “full package” wristband. This package pricing only includes the on-course portion of the experience(teambuilding and Zoo admission is not included).
    •  Price:
      • Groups 1 to 20 people =$350
      • Groups 21 to 35 people =$500
      • Groups 36 to 50 people =$700
      • Groups 51 to 75 people = $1000
      • Groups 76 to 100 people =$1500
    • Timeframe:2 to 6 hours, highly dependent on group size
    • Amenities:
      • Public park areas: School Groups will have access to public picnic areas near the Adventure Park Base Camp at no cost.
        • Picnic tables based on availability
        • Lockers are available at Base Camp
        • May carry in food and drinks or cater the event. Cannot carry food into Zoo.
        • Access to public bathrooms
        • Please remember, the park has a strict “carry in, carry out” policy
      • Open Air Shelter at the Adventure Park Base Camp can be rented at a rate of $90 a day when available (be sure to check on availability).
        • 4 picnic tables under 50’x25’ roof
        • Electrical Outlets
        • Lockers are available at Base Camp
        • May carry in food and drinks or cater the event. Cannot carry food into Zoo.(see approved caterers list)
        • Access to nearby restrooms
  • Corporate Groups:
    • Description: This recreational program package is designed for all corporate groups wanting to bring out the team for an adventurous “challenge by choice” experience. Each member of the group will be issues a “full package” wristband. This package pricing only includes the on-course portion of the experience(teambuilding and Zoo admission is not included).
    •  Price:
      • Groups of 1-15 people=$350
      • Groups of 16-30 people=$550
      • Groups of 31-50 people= $ 900
      • Groups of 51-75 people = $1400
      • Groups of 76-100= $1800
    • Timeframe: 2 to 6 hours, highly dependent on group size
    •  Amenities:
      • 4 picnic tables under 50’x25’ roof
      • Electrical Outlets

  • Extreme Team Challenge:
    • Description: This program is designed for highly competitive and physically fit sports teams, youth groups and corporate groups who are up for a challenge. This program is much like an adventure race and can get very competitive.  Groups will be divided into sub-teams and given a set of rules and guidelines that describes the challenges. The sub teams will be competing against each other. The teams will be required to strategize and set S.M.A.R.T. goals and will experience consequences based on their performances.       The groups will be able to practice their leadership, teamwork, communication and discipline throughout the challenge. Special scheduling accommodations are required because this activity requires the entire adventure park in exclusion to others.
    •  Price:
      • teams 1-25= $500
      • teams 25-50= $750
    • Timeframe: 3 to 4 hours
    • Amenities:
      • Public park areas: Groups will have access to public picnic areas near the Adventure Park Base Camp at no cost.

  • Teambuilding:
    • Description: If you are looking to take your group program to the next level you can add a custom teambuilding experience as an add-on to the above group packages. Our experienced staff will custom design a teambuilding program based on your goals. This teambuilding experience can include icebreakers, de-inhibitors, large groups games, group initiative/strategy activities, trust building activities and even low ropes course elements. This teambuilding experience can take place before, during or after the on-course package or as a stand-alone experience.
