Join us on Thursday, September 14, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, for the 2nd annual Brew at the Zoo event!

This fun, adults-only event supports conservation efforts and is hosted in partnership with the N.E.W Zoological Society.  There will be over 70 different craft brews, hard ciders, wines and non-alcoholic drinks on hand for guests to sample. Designated Driver tickets are $9 and Beer/Wine Tasting tickets sell for only $35 – both tickets include unlimited tasting of either non-alcoholic beverages (Designated Drivers) or all beverages (Unlimited Tasters).  Tickets can be purchased in the NEW Zoo Gift Shop, Bay Area Diamond Company, Mona Rose Winery, and onlinePlease note: No one under 21 will be allowed inside the Zoo during the event. The Zoo will close to the public at 4:30pm on September 14th to prepare for the event.

Wines will be served by Mona Rose Winery, Forgotten Fire Winery, and Falling Waters Winery. Guests will also be able to sample craft beers and hard ciders produced by New Belgium, Shiner, Door County Brewery, One Barrel, Wisconsin Brewing Company, Potosi, Blakes, Stone Arch, Fox River, South Shore, Goose Island, Shock Top, Heogaarden, Leffe, Stella, Beck’s Spaten, Cidre, Virtue Cider, Tallgrass, Abita. Keeeenaw, Elysian, and Kona. Non-alcoholic drinks will be supplied by Pepsi Bottling of NE Wisconsin and will include everything from a variety of sodas to flavored waters and specialty iced teas.

Every Beer/Wine ticket holder will get a pretzel necklace (or small bag of pretzels) and a 6 oz. logo’d limited edition Brew at the Zoo tasting glass. Designated Driver ticket holders can sample all of the non-alcoholic fare with your very own, brand-new red Solo Cup. Besides the unlimited opportunity to taste many outstanding selections, we’ll also have a live band, picnic-style food for sale, the Dog House’s famous fresh cheese curds, silent auction, animal encounters, behind-the-scenes tours of animal enclosures, and games like Carousel Races, a Stein-Hoisting Competition, along with other special opportunities to support conservation! Last but not least, Bay Are Diamond Company has donated 10 REAL diamonds as well as a lovely piece of jewelry that some lucky winners will go home with that evening!

Please note: No one under 21 will be allowed inside the Zoo during the event – not even the underage children of adults who are present. Leave the kids at home and consider this your date night!

All proceeds from the event will be donated to SAFE – Saving Animals from Extinction. Learn more about SAFE by going to https://www.aza.org/safe/.
