DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the evening sights and sounds of the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park on a Twilight Tour on the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour! Join us on select Saturdays coming up – June 28th\, July 26th\, August 23rd\, and September 20th – from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. \n“Twilight Tours have quickly become a fan-favorite experience\,” says Nathaniel Wagner\, Adventure Park Supervisor. “Guests have really enjoyed being here in the evening hours\, when the Zoo itself is closed. You get to see animals at a time when no one else usually does\, and many of them are especially active as they get settled in for the night.” \nThe zoo’s big cats seem to enjoy watching guests on the Twilight Tours\, too! The experience provides a perfect view of the African lions and the snow leopards. Snow leopard Ahava seems to love interacting with guests on Twilight Tours\, often jumping up to the top of the rock pile to be practically face-to-face with people\, where she can watch and follow them\, even running back and forth a bit. \nTickets for the Twilight Tours will be available at the Adventure Park’s Base Camp Building at the time of the events. The final tour each evening will depart at 7:30 p.m. Regular prices for the Canopy Tour will apply: Adults – $8; Seniors (62+) and Kids (3-15) – $6; and Kids under 3 – Free. \nFor more information about the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour\, visit newzoo.org/canopytour.

SUMMARY:Accessible Zip Lining
DESCRIPTION:The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is pleased to announce the return of the highly anticipated Accessible Zip Lining at the Adventure Park! This year\, three sessions will be offered on Thursdays throughout the summer: June 26th\, July 24th\, and August 14th\, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. \nThese inclusive events are designed to make the thrill of ziplining accessible to those with physical disabilities in a safe\, supportive\, and fun environment. Our trained and professional staff will assist participants throughout the full experience – from getting geared up\, to being lifted to the top of the 50-foot-tall fire tower\, to zipping down the 1\,000-foot-long Dual Racing Zip Lines. At the end of the exhilarating ride\, staff will assist with a smooth\, controlled descent to the ground. \n“We’re excited to be able to offer three separate Accessible Zip Lining events this year\,” said Nathaniel Wagner\, Adventure Park Supervisor. “Everyone who joined us last year had such a great time. We look forward to zipping both returning and new participants this summer.” \nReservations are required and should be made in advance online at newzoo.org or by calling 920-662-2415. The cost is just $34.95 + tax per person. Participants must be at least 6 years old\, able to hold themselves in an upright position\, and weigh no more than 200 pounds.
