The NEW Zoo features a variety of fun, educational programs throughout the week. Opportunities are available for guests to purchase “VIP Tickets” to gain access to some very special experiences. Check out the schedules below.
Please note: admission to the NEW Zoo is required for entry into the Zoo to enjoy any of the following programs
Snow Leopard Den Tours
- Step inside the Lee & Kathy Anderson Snow Leopard Den to learn about how we care for Bodhi and Ahava!
- Occurs at 10:30 a.m. on select dates
- Snow Leopard Den Tours are designed for small groups of up to six people (when counting those aged 2 and above). Children under age 2 do not count towards the maximum number and are allowed into the den as long as they are held by an adult. Strollers are not permitted in the den. Every group of up to six must include at least one adult. Smaller groups are welcome to participate! You do not need six people to attend the Tour.
- Tickets are sold *per group* and should be purchased in advance
- Tickets are $60 per group of up to 6 people
- The $60 program fee applies to all groups, including those with fewer than 6 people. More than 6 people are not permitted to participate.
- Members receive a discount that applies automatically to your shopping cart when you are logged into the payment system! See bottom of this page for instructions for logging in if you’re unsure.
- Tickets non-refundable and are valid ONLY on the date for which you purchase them, so please ensure you are selecting the correct date before you buy
- Please note: there are no interactions with the cats during this program and cats are not guaranteed to be inside the Den.
African Penguin Feeding Experience
- Toss fish to our birds while standing inside the penguin habitat! Get a tour of the penguin den building.
- Occurs at 12:30 p.m. on weekends
- Penguin Feeding Experiences are designed for small groups of up to six people (when counting those aged 2 and above). Children under age 2 do not count towards the maximum number and are allowed into the feeding area as long as they are held by an adult. Every group of up to six must include at least one adult. Smaller groups are welcome to participate! You do not need six people to feed the penguins.

- Only FOUR tickets are available per day
- Zoo members receive a discount that applies automatically when you are logged into the payment system (see instructions below)
- Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult
- Tickets non-refundable and are valid ONLY on the date for which you purchase them, so please ensure you are selecting the correct date before you buy
- Please note: people with fish allergies should not participate in otter feedings
Pelican Feeding Experience
- Pelican Feedings are over for 2024
- Tickets are sold per person and recommended to be purchased in advance
- Tickets are $15 per person
- Only FIVE tickets are available per day
- Zoo members receive a discount that applies automatically when you are logged into the payment system (see instructions below)
- Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult

I’m a Zoo Member. How do I receive my discount when purchasing online?
Your discount will automatically apply as long as you are logged into your Membership Account with our shopping system. If you haven’t already, create your Membership Account today with our online shopping system (called “Blackbaud”) on the page linked below. Be sure to use the same email address that is connected to your Zoo Membership – otherwise, the system may not recognize you as a Zoo Member. If you need us to change the email address associated with your Membership, send us an email.

After you click on the ticket sales link, click on the “Sign In” button located on the top right corner of your screen (see image below). The login works best on desktop computers vs mobile devices, but can be done on a mobile device. You’ll need to click directly into the box that says “email” and then can use your tab or ^/v buttons to navigate to the Password box and then to the “Sign in” button.
