Zoo mourns sudden loss of 3 otters

Otter Update – July 2016 The reports on the early June deaths of three otters at the NEW Zoo have been finalized. Post mortem examinations were performed by Zoo veterinarians and veterinary pathologists at the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Madison. The otters succumbed to a Salmonella infection.
