Adventure Camps are designed to challenge each camper to expand their abilities and try a new activity. Every camp we offer is “challenge by choice.” We encourage all of the campers to participate in all activities to their comfort level. We are here to make sure they are having fun and participating safely.

 

Trekker Camp

Youth ages 6–9

Campers will embark on a quest to become a Trekker. We will climb, hike, zip, and complete the ropes course. Each day will focus on a new area, while teaching safety, team work, and most of all having fun.

Campers will receive a camp souvenir and daily snacks daily. Campers are encouraged to bring a waterbottle daily.

Cost: $175 (Member’s receive a discount)

  • Trekker Camp Session 1 – June 17 – 20, 8:30 am – 12:30pm CAMP FULL
  • Trekker Camp Session 2 – July 8 – 11, 8:30 am – 12:30pm CAMP FULL
  • Trekker Camp Session 3 – July 29 – August 1, 8:30 am – 12:30pm
  • Trekker Camp Session 4  – August 12 – 15, 8:30 am – 12:30pm

Explorer Camp

Youth ages 10-14

Campers will gain and test their skills to become an Explorer. We will climb, bike, zip, and complete the ropes course. Campers will be challenged, while having fun, and learning team work and safety.

Campers will receive a camp souvenir and daily snacks. Campers are encouraged to bring  a waterbottle daily. They are also encouraged to bring their own mountain bike for the biking day, there will be a limited number of bikes available to rent for $25, for those who don’t have their own.

Cost: $175 (Member’s receive a discount)

  • Explorer Camp Session 1 – June 24 – 27, 8:30 am – 12:30pm CAMP FULL
  • Explorer Camp Session 2 – July 15 – 18, 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Explorer Camp Session 3 – August 5 – 8, 8:30am – 12:30pm

Junior Guide Day

Youth ages 14-16

Junior Guides will have a day full of Adventure Park Activities. Learn what the training is like to become an Adventure Guide. Explore the park with guides and watch them in action. Practice the skills you learn in different scenarios. By the end of the day you will become a Junior Guide.

Snacks will be provided, but bring a bag lunch and a waterbottle. We will be outside all day so dress for the weather.

Cost: $40 (Member’s receive a discount)

Adventure Day Camps

Zip Camp

This camp is open to youth ages 6-14 and will focus on the excitement of zip lining. Campers will learn about how a zip line operates and spend much of the day riding the 1000′ dual racing zip line. Campers will receive a snack. Campers are encouraged to bring a waterbottle.

  • Zip Camp – July 1, 8:30am – 12:30pm CAMP FULL

Ropes Camp

This camp is open to youth ages 6-14 and will focus on the challenge of the ropes course. Campers will learn about the ropes courses, do some teambuilding and spend much of the day on the Aerial Challenge Course. Campers will receive a snack. Campers are encouraged to bring a waterbottle.

Bike Camp

This camp is open to youth ages 10-14. Mountain biking is a great way to recreate. Campers will learn about bikes, maintenance, and hit the trails for some riding. The Reforestation Camp offers some great single and double track mountain biking trails.  Campers are encouraged to bring a mountain bike. There will be some available for rent for $25, for those who aren’t able to bring one. Campers will receive a snack. Campers are encouraged to bring a waterbottle and helmet.

Climbing Camp

This camp is open to youth ages 6-14. Campers will learn about rock climbing and the gear involved. They will learn to boulder, belay, and climb.  Much of the day will be spent on the 32′ climbing wall. Campers will receive a snack. Campers are encouraged to bring a waterbottle.

I’m a Zoo or Adventure Park Member. How do I receive my discount when purchasing online?

Your discount will automatically apply as long as you are logged into your Membership Account with our shopping system. If you haven’t already, create your Membership Account today with our online shopping system (called “Blackbaud”) on the page linked below. Be sure to use the same email address that is connected to your Zoo Membership – otherwise, the system may not recognize you as a Zoo Member. If you need us to change the email address associated with your Membership, send us an email.

How do I log in to receive my Member discount?

After you click on the ticket sales link, click on the “Sign In” button located on the top right corner of your screen (see image below). The login works best on desktop computers vs mobile devices, but can be done on a mobile device. You’ll need to click directly into the box that says “email” and then can use your tab or ^/v buttons to navigate to the Password box and then to the “Sign in” button.
