Your Adventure Camp Starts Here!!!

Adventure Camps are designed to challenge each camper to expand their abilities and try a new activity. Every camp we offer is “challenge by choice.” We encourage all of the campers to participate in all activities to their comfort level. We are here to make sure they are having fun and participating safely.

Trekker Camp 

Youth Ages 6–10

Trekker Camp is designed for youth ages 6–10 and offers an exciting introduction to adventure-based activities. Campers will climb, hike, zip-line, and take on the ropes course as they work toward becoming a Trekker. Each day highlights a different activity area, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and fun. Campers will receive a souvenir and daily snacks, and should bring a water bottle each day. This special program does not require campers to meet the standard height and weight requirements.

Explorer Camp

Youth ages 11-14

Explorer Camp is designed for youth ages 11–14 and challenges campers to develop and test their skills as they work toward becoming an Explorer. Activities include climbing, biking, zip-lining, and completing the ropes course. Campers will be challenged while building teamwork skills and learning the importance of safety—all while having fun. Campers will receive a souvenir and daily snacks, and should bring a water bottle each day. Campers are encouraged to bring their own mountain bike for the biking day; a limited number of bikes are available to rent for $25.

Cost: $185 (Member’s receive a discount)

Adventure Day Camps

Zip Camp

Zip Camp is designed for youth ages 6–14 and offers an exciting, zip line–focused experience. Campers will learn how zip lines operate and spend much of the day riding the 1,000-foot dual racing zip line. The day emphasizes safety, confidence, and fun. Campers will receive a snack and are encouraged to bring a water bottle. This special program does not require campers to meet the standard height and weight requirements.

Ropes Camp

Ropes Camp is designed for youth ages 6–14 and focuses on the excitement and challenge of the ropes course. Campers will learn how ropes courses operate, participate in team-building activities, and spend much of the day on the Aerial Challenge Course. The day emphasizes safety, teamwork, confidence, and fun. Campers will receive a snack and are encouraged to bring a water bottle. This special program does not require campers to meet the standard height and weight requirements.

Climbing Camp

Climbing Camp is designed for youth ages 6–14 and introduces campers to the fundamentals of rock climbing and climbing gear. Campers will practice bouldering, belaying, and climbing while spending much of the day on the 32-foot climbing wall. The day emphasizes safety, skill-building, confidence, and fun. Campers will receive a snack and are encouraged to bring a water bottle. This special program does not require campers to meet the standard height and weight requirements.

Junior Guide Day

Youth ages 14-15

Junior Guides is for youth ages 14-15, where participants will experience Adventure Park activities and learn what it takes to become an Adventure Guide. They will explore the park with guides, observe them in action, and practice new skills in various scenarios. By the end of the session, they will become Junior Guides. Snacks will be provided, but campers should bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for outdoor weather.

Cost: $40 (Member’s receive a discount)

Member Discount FAQs

I’m a Zoo or Adventure Park Member. How do I receive my discount when purchasing online?

Your discount will automatically apply as long as you are logged into your Membership Account with our shopping system. If you haven’t already, create your Membership Account today with our online shopping system (called “Blackbaud”) on the page linked below. Be sure to use the same email address that is connected to your Zoo Membership – otherwise, the system may not recognize you as a Zoo Member. If you need us to change the email address associated with your Membership, send us an email.

How do I log in to receive my Member discount?

After you click on the ticket sales link, click on the “Sign In” button located on the top right corner of your screen (see image below). The login works best on desktop computers vs mobile devices, but can be done on a mobile device. You’ll need to click directly into the box that says “email” and then can use your tab or ^/v buttons to navigate to the Password box and then to the “Sign in” button.
