Snowshoe rentals now available!

Snowshoe Reservations

The Reforestation Camp offers 2 miles of snowshoe trails for you to explore. The snowshoe trailhead is located on the east side of the upper parking lot. No trail pass is need as snowshoeing is a free activity offered by the Brown County Parks Department.

Snowshoe rentals are available daily 9:00am – 4:00pm. There are 5 different sizes available for rent so the entire family can snowshoe together. There is no special footwear needed for snowshoeing so wear your regular winter boots. We encourage you to dress in layers taking into account the temperatures.  Make sure you remember your hat and gloves. Snowshoeing is limited to the snowshoe trails. Snowshoeing is not allowed on cross country ski trails or snowmobile trails.

Packages & Prices-

• 1/2 Day Adult = $8.00(+tax)
• 1/2 Day Youth (4-15) = $6.00(+tax)
• Full Day Adult = $12.00(+tax)
• Full Day Youth (4-15) = $10.00(+tax)

Participant Requirements-

• Snowshoes must be returned before designated end of rental time or the participant will be charged an additional fee
• Recommended minimum age of 4 years old
• Participant must be 18 years old or under the direct supervision of a legal guardian
• Participants/Legal Guardian must sign a participant agreement and liability waiver
• Participant must follow snowshoe trails
• Snowshoes must stay onsite
• Participant is liable for any major snowshoe damage beyond normal “wear and tear”
