The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is excited to join in the fun of Greater Green Bay’s inaugural 920 Week this year by offering admission to the NEW Zoo for just $9.20 per person on 9/20 while we’re celebrating International Red Panda Day! The special admission pricing will be available at the door during regular hours of operation (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and International Red Panda Day event activities will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event is free with zoo admission.

Guests can find several areas throughout the zoo full of red panda themed fun! A Kids Zone will feature games, crafts, a photo booth, and a bounce house (weather permitting). A red panda themed merchandise sales table (selling paintings made by our very own red pandas!) will be available near the zoo’s central red panda habitat, and additional hands-on learning activities will occur at the zoo’s north red panda habitat. Guests can also enjoy several presentations throughout the day, including Zookeeper Chats with training and enrichment demonstrations at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. respectively, and a Red Panda Feeding at 1:45 p.m. Face Painting by Lori & Friends will also be on-site (weather permitting).

Funds raised during this event will support red panda conservation through the Red Panda Network.  Fewer than 10,000 red pandas exist in the world today, with as few as 2,500 red pandas remaining in the wild. Red Panda Network is a non-profit organization that is committed to the conservation of wild red pandas and their habitat. Through community-based research, outreach, and education programs, Red Panda Network has reached significant milestones in Nepal. Learn more about them at redpandanetwork.org.

The NEW Zoo is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in September. Regular Zoo admission rates are Adults: $14.50; Children (3-15): $10; Seniors (62+): $11; Kids under 3: Free. Regular Canopy Tour admission rates are Adults: $8; Children (3-15) and Seniors (62+): $6; Kids under 3: Free
