Just in time for the holiday weekend, the Adventure Park is reopening for the season! Starting this Saturday, May 25^th, the Ropes Course and Climbing Wall, Zipline, and Kids Kourse will all be open daily –including on Memorial Day Monday! – throughout the summer. Complete Adventures and Ropes Course Tours will be offered starting on the hour, every hour from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and both the Kids Kourse and Zipline Adventures will be offered on the same schedule, with additional tours beginning at 5:00 p.m. Spaces are limited for all Adventure Park tours, so we recommend reserving tickets in advance whenever possible at newzoo.org/adventure-park-tickets.

We’re so excited about the reopening of the Adventure Park experiences that we’ve decided to share some of those same adventurous experiences with the animals! Our snow monkey habitat recently received a complete “adventure overhaul.” Staff designed and installed new elements in the monkey habitat that mimic some of the adventures that guests can experience at the Adventure Park. The snow monkeys seem to enjoy their new “furniture” and can often be seen playing on the ropes and ladders, running across the bridges, and swinging from the nets. Guests can get an even better view of the snow monkeys while traversing the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour, which brings you eye-to-eye with the snow monkeys.

It’s now easier than ever to enjoy the Canopy Tour, thanks to a new “Zoo PLUS Canopy Tour” ticket that provides access to both the NEW Zoo and the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour on the same day. The Zoo PLUS Canopy Tour Tickets result in a savings of $2 per person when compared to buying separate tickets for each experience. It’s a great way to pay less and enjoy more! The Canopy Tour is open every day starting at 9:00 a.m. with the final tour starting at 5:30 p.m. Zoo PLUS Canopy Tour tickets can be purchased on arrival to either the Zoo or the Adventure Park Base Camp building OR purchased online before your arrival.
